I don’t know about you, but button up shirts on guys are my FAVE! They complete an outfit, can dress up a pair of dark wash denim (heck even add a tie) or keep it casual over a basic tee and your oldest favourite denims.

Print Practice – For Her

This season has shown a lot of diversity in the textile world- from big, bold kaleidoscopic graphics to minute, minimal patterns. We’ve been playing around with prints here in the shop and here are a few tips we like to use in our styling. After all there is a fun, risk-taking fashionista in all of us ladies!
When mixing prints, try pairing a bold graphic with a smaller symmetrical pattern to keep things balanced.

A good trick to making sure your patterns are cohesive is by finding a mutual colour among them.

With an oversized print, keep the jewelry to a minimum to avoid making the outfit look too busy. A simple pendant and some earrings are perfect in this situation!

Finally, pairing muted patterns together is a great idea as it doesn’t seem to harsh on the eye. This trick plays on both the pastels and prints which is double the trend points (but who’s counting?)
